Work out your exact equity hand vs hand, hand vs range, or range vs range, on any board and for up to four players. Turn and river spots with fixed hands are enumerated exactly; everything else is sampled, and the result tells you which you got.

Not just pre-built charts. Sharkling solves your actual spot and drills you until the right call is automatic.

Enter an exact hand (As Ks) or a range (22+, ATs+, KQo). Two card tokens with suits is a hand; anything else is read as a range.

Equity is how often you win. What you need to win is a separate question — the pot odds calculator handles that side, and comparing the two is essentially all of poker.

Now: should you have been in this spot at all?

Sharkling grades every decision in the hand against a real solve, not just the one you asked about.

Frequently asked questions

What is equity in poker?

Your share of the pot if the hand were played to showdown from this point, every possible runout weighted by how often it happens. 60% equity in a $100 pot means the pot is worth $60 to you right now.

What are pot odds?

The price you are being offered. Facing a $50 bet into a $100 pot, you risk $50 to win $150, so you need to win more than 50/200 = 25% of the time to break even on the call.

How accurate is this calculator?

On the turn and river with fixed hands it enumerates every remaining runout, so the answer is exact. Preflop and against ranges it samples, and the result page tells you which of the two you got.

What is the difference between equity and pot odds?

Equity is how often you win. Pot odds are how often you need to win. Call when the first is larger than the second — that comparison is essentially all of poker.

Does the calculator account for card removal?

Yes. Cards on the board and in known hands are removed from every range before the calculation, so blockers are handled correctly. Holding the ace of spades genuinely does cut the villain's nut-flush combos, and the result reflects it.
