The hard part of “Duolingo for poker” isn’t the lessons — it’s grading answers honestly. Rules of thumb fall apart past the basics, so Sharkling checks every decision against solves computed by its own CFR engine.

Why give a month away to Reddit?
Because early users who complain loudly are worth more than ad clicks. The free month is the top tier so you hit the interesting parts (solve explorer, node-locking) instead of bouncing off a paywall.
Did AI write this whole thing?
AI wrote a lot of the code — I won’t pretend otherwise. The engine is still a real CFR solver built for this app (not a wrapper around someone else’s solver API), and the direction, review, and every decision behind it were human. Judge it by the output: the EV numbers come from actual solves.
What’s the catch?
There isn’t one. We never take a card, so there’s nothing to auto-renew and nothing to cancel. When the month is up you drop to the (genuinely useful) free tier and that’s that.
Is this gambling?
No. Sharkling is a training app — you never wager or win real money here. You learn strategy with play chips, graded by a solver. What you do with the skills at your home game is up to you.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Sharkling runs in your browser and works great on your phone — start on the bus, continue on your laptop, same streak.
